Hi, the problem im having is that windows makes a blue screen at random times whenever i load an application usually like a game or sound and then reboots itself. On reboot it says the error should be reported and that my system has recovered from a serious problem. I then report it and it directs me to a windows webpage that says its driver related. 'Device driver' STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER STOP: 0x100000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER_M After this happened, i rebooted the pc and windows ran a Scandisk to repair corrupt files. I was then playing games e.t.c for a few days or so with the occasional system crash and reboot/lock up and thought that i would have to live with that until today when the pc loaded up and it said. Dwwin.exe - Bade Image The application or DLL C: WINDOWS system32 riched20.dll is not a valid windows image.
Please check this against your installation diskette. There is also another red X error message that pops up as windows loads but disappears to fast before i can note it down. My system is a AMD athlon 64 3500 @2.2ghz 1GB pc3200 Geforce 6800GS Nforce Asus Mobo Creative audigy 2 SE sound card. Ive installed all the latest drivers for my video card, sound card and all the crucial windows updates. My speakers frequently make a popping sound i thought this is just interference with other electrical devices as they are cheap $25 creative i trigue ones. Ive heard there is a conflict between nForce mobo's and creative sound cards? I have norton 2006 Antivirus always running with autoprotect in the green.
